Ladies,
It's time! Are you getting excited? I am!!
"Spring Fling" is a mere 5 days away and I wanted to touch base to cover a few things with all of you.
1) Like all of our crops, there will be soda, water & snacks (including fresh fruit) provided through out the weekend.
2) This is the first time that I will NOT be assigning seating so bare with me when you get there. I will however do my best keeping the groups together as you indicated with names you listed on your forms. Everyone will have their own 6ft table!! **Posted on the door as you enter the room will be a list posted with 3 rows of names on it, find your name and this will tell you which row your group is in.....
3) Cheeky Chics is offering an on-site store and not fully stocked yet but we will have Bazzill cardstock (all of the colors) glues, tape runners several of the Basic Grey latest paper kits etc. available and more to come as we grow......♥
4) There will be a tool table available for everyone to make use of with the following items...
a) Cricut Expression (please bring your own mat)
b) Cricut Cartridges (large selection for you to choose from)
c) Cuttle Bug with a large assortment of embossing folders.
d) Assortment of rubber stamps
e) Assortment of punches
f) New Computer w/Windows 7 Operating system
h) Color Printer
5) Garage Sale: I have had multiple request for having a garage sale at the crop. So I will have tables available for you to display your items on.
6) Massages: Due to the fact that the Chateau' Elan offers spa services they are not allowing us to offer chair massages
: { ....... however they are offering on site massages at the same rate. So please be sure to call the hotel to book yours or book at check in if this is something you want to take advantage of! 863-655-7200
7) Comfort: Don't forget to bring a sweater, jacket or fan depending which side of the thermostat you currently are on! And a cushion for your tush (sitting in these chairs for long periods of time can get really comfortable) My friend Jen Peck always recommends a small stool or something similar to prop your feet on as to alleviate pressure on your back. This doesn't work for me but it's probably because my legs are so long.....lol
8) Lighting: This will be our first time cropping in this room and the lighting "appears" to be good but if you own a Ott light or crafting light bring it along with a power strip.

9) "Blossom" Last but not least, our old school bus will be making her first debut at "Spring Fling". Put your creative thinking cap on ladies, we are asking everyone to participate in personalizing "Blossom"!! And don't forget to sign your name ; }
I ran a name the bus contest on Facebook ...Drum roll please......the name selected in our "Name the Bus" contest was entered by Melissa Hall "Blossom" meaning 1.To come into flower; bloom. 2.To develop; flourish (which we thought was perfect as we "blossom" into our joint adventure with all of you.....

This past weekend JD & I went and stayed at the Chateau Elan because we wanted to be able to speak first hand regarding the amenities of this beautiful hotel.
I cannot say enough good things regarding our stay! Everything is top notch all the way...right down to the iPod / iPad docking station next to the bed!
